Whimsically Witchy ~ Halloween Inspired Fundraiser for Staunton Public School Art and Music

Hi! I'm Camille, a classical singer, mom and a Staunton resident. I know you can relate when I say that the past two years have been ROUGH. I started EXTREME crafting during COVID so I wouldn't lose my mind!! Last year, the result was a spectacular front yard Halloween display that caught the attention of the News Leader! We decided we wanted to put all the attention we received toward some good use.

This year, our display, "Whimsically Witchy", will benefit the art and music departments at McSwain Elementary!!

Growing up, music and art were profound influences in my life. Despite the arts being an essential element of a first-class education, they are chronically underfunded.

Whimsically Witchy is my way of trying to use my own creativity to raise money for the arts in our local public schools.

We hope this will be the inaugural year of the fundraiser and ultimately we want to be able to raise enough money to augment arts funding in all of Staunton City Schools.
